ANeT-Menu: Catering System

ANeT-Menu is a food-service system for managing the ordering and serving of meals in cafeterias, canteens, and other food service facilities. The systems operation includes two main phases. In the first phase, the food-service client chooses and orders a concrete meal from the offerings in the menu.

In the second phase, the client picks up his or her food. The program also lets the user manage and monitor the serving of food, securely registers which meals have been picked up by clients, including all related data, and administer clients food bills.

A list of current menus

Allows you to enter and print menus for particular days. These menus also appear in the ordering and issuing terminals on the particular day. Using the second tab titled Rates, price rates for individual menus or supplements may be set (one menu may have several prices, for example, for the companys employees and other persons).

Statement of accounts

Displays the list of individual persons cash accounts. Every account contains its type and amount. Also an account limit may be set.

Canteen

This independent program is designed for direct sale (e.g. bread, drinks, menus, etc.). Sale may be made either in cash or by card in the credit or debit mode.

Basic characteristics of ANeT-Menu

  • Ordering system and/or the direct sale of meals and other items in cash or by cards;
  • Ordering meals up to 7 calendar days in advance, order cancellation, order status testing;
  • Up to 5 dishes (1 to 5) may be ordered for three types of meals breakfast/supplement, lunch, dinner;
  • The special supplement type allows one to order one to five supplements to a main menu (soup, dessert, salad, etc.).
  • Charging by using a system at which a persons account may be in red numbers and the account statement is not checked by the ordering system, or a system at which money must be deposited to the account so that meals can be issued or shopping done in the canteen.
  • Code list of persons: every person may bear information on the company, centre and type of charging. The number of main dishes and supplements that a person may order can be limited. In the Menu system, only one chip, designated as the primer one, may be used. If the Menu system is operated along with other programs of the ANeT family, then the identical database is used and persons may be transferred to the Menu system easily by pointing. Persons may be assigned hierarchically to centres and centres to companies.
  • Foodstuffs: Quantities, prices, nutritive values, category, bar code (for the Canteen), and VAT may be entered. The type of use may be set: dining hall (Menu system), canteen, both, canteen register for sorting out non-specified items in the Canteen.
  • Dishes a list of foodstuffs of which a dish is comprised can be entered, bar codes (for the Canteen);
  • Menus (Current menu) menus can be defined for any number of days in advance. Each canteen may have a different menu. Each menu may contain any number of rates (prices) which may have a different VAT and subsidy. These rates are always defined for a particular company. If a rate is not defined, the menu value entered in the code list is taken and the subsidy entered with the company. Automatic entering of rates facilitates the system. Menu cards may be printed for up to 7 days in advance.
